Jackie Robinson Parkway towards Brooklyn. Exit at Cypress Hills Street. Turn right. Beth El is the second cemetery down the hill on the left. No office exists at New Mt. Carmel (Mt. Carmel), Machpelah or Beth El. Records available from Salem Field cemetery office. Call before you go. Carolee Inskeep, "The Graveyard Shift" calls Beth-El Cemetery also "New Union Filelds Cemetery".Salem Fields (Temple EmanuEl). The first cemetery was in Brooklyn. The congregation gave up that site and opened here in 1852.
