Carmel), Machpelah or Beth El. Records available from Salem Field cemetery office. Call before you go. Carolee Inskeep, "The Graveyard Shift" calls Beth-El Cemetery also "New Union Filelds Cemetery".Salem Fields (Temple EmanuEl). The first cemetery was in Brooklyn. The congregation gave up that site and opened here in 1852.
