Samorin is located in Dunajska Streda, SE of Bratislava. The flat urban site, separate but near other cemeteries, has no sign, but has Jewish symbols on gate or wall. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a masonry wall and locking gate. The size of the cemetery before 1939 and now is 40x20 meters. 20-100 19th-20th century marble, granite, and other materials flat shaped tombstones or finely smoothed and inscribed stones are in original locations. Inscriptions are Hebrew, German, Hungarian, and Russian. The cemetery contains special memorial monuments to Jewish WWI soldiers (1914-1918). Within the cemetery is a pre-burial house. The site is Jewish cemetery only. Adjacent properties are residential. Occasionally, private visitors stop.

Restoration: re-erection of stones, clearing vegetation, and fixing of gate. Individuals clean or clean occasionally. No threats.
