Located at Greaves Lane & Conshohocken (State Road) (route 23), Gladwyn, PA; Montgomery County, Lower Merion Township. Contact number is 215-789-2104. (This is Har Yehuda's number; they own this cemetery.) Historian, Allen Meyers, in a JGSP lecture on 6/15/1992 said that up until the early 1930's, Har Sesetim, Gladwyn (really Mt. of Olives) served the Norristown Jewish Community and Philadelphia.
History: Opened 1860; Maintained by Kurlander Unterstutzungsverein; Size: 19 acres, 2 acres sold to Independent Chebrah Kadisha; 1200 burials

On January 26, 1999 Judge Stanely Ott of the Court of Common Pleas, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania, Orphans' Court Division, settled litigation over the disposition of this cemetery. The agreement reached with representatives of the descendants of those buried there, community groups, neighboring Beth David Reform Congregation, the Moskowitz family, and developers turns the cemetery over to Beth David Reform Congregation. Beth David along with local community groups plan to raise funds to clean up the site, repair damaged stone markers, and create a memorial park for use by relatives of those buried there and the community. Members of Beth David are presently researching the history of the Cemetery and the names and location those buried there. Located at Oxford Avenue between Summerdale and Deveraux Streets, Philadelphia County, PA 19111; Mailing address is 6061 Oxford Ave., Phil. Pa. 19149. Listed as Oxford Turnpike. This cemetery lies across from Fels High School on the Devereaux Street side, across from Carnell Elementary on the Summerdale Street side. Directions: From Greater Northeast-South on Roosevelt Blvd (US Route 1 South) to Oxford Ave. (At Oxford Circle), bear right on Oxford Ave. to cemetery. From Center City and Points West, Schuylkill Expressway to Roosevelt Blvd, (US Route 1 North), continue North on Roosevelt Blvd. to Summerdale Ave., Turn left on Summerdale Ave., and continue to Oxford Avenue, turn left on Oxford Ave to cemetery.
The now 10-acre, non-denominational cemetery was owned by Northern Chevra Kadisha; Inc. 1890. In 1906, the size was 22 acres. Jewish Burial Organizations with ground at Har Nebo Cemetery in 1900/1901(AJYB).
Isaac Levi, great-grandfather of current general partner, founded Har Nebo Cemetery in 1890. Har Nebo Cemetery Co. Inc. ownership was divided between Isaac Levi and a group of investors, primarily the Ziegler Family. The Zeigler family managed the cemetery from 1926 to 1981. In the late 1990's, computerization of their records back to the 1940's occurred. Searching for relatives before this time period requires an approximate date of death. Directions: South on City Ave. (US 1 South) to Springfield Rd. (4th light past Loehman's Plaza). Tturn left on Springfield Rd. and continue to Oak Ave. (5th light past Mt. Sharon Cemetery), turn right and continue to MacDade Blvd. (1st light after Mt. Lebanon and Mt. Jacob Cemeteries), turn left on MacDade Cem. Entrance on left side or Schuylkill Expressway (Rt. 76 East) to Passyunk Ave. (Pass Auto Mall) to end. Turn right. Continue to 2nd light (84th St) turn right on 84th Street and continue to Primos Ave. Turn right on Primos Ave that becomes Oak Ave. Continue on Oak Ave. to MacDade Blvd. Turn right. Cemetery entrance is on left. From Greater Northeast - Take Rt. I-95 South to Bartram Ave., Continue to 4th light (84th Street) Turn right on 84th Street and follow directions as above.

Located at 200 Moores Road, Frazier, PA 19355; Chester County; (East Whiteland Township), (215)-644-1100. Opened 1948 (interview with Ed Blatt, National President Jewish War Veterans.
Directions: Schuylkill Expressway West (I-76) to Route 202 South. Continue on Route 202 South to Frazer (PA route 401). Turn right at bottom of ramp, go approximately 50 feet. Turn left onto Moores Ave., which then bears off to the right and continue to cemetery.
