  • Schachnus/Beth Tefyla: Orthodox. Elenor Ziv at 315-0909, 679-4900. Rabbi Schachna Isaacs, born in Darrtown, OH started the cemetery. The rules forbid metal in the caskets and concrete vaults. The deceased are buried in shrouds prepared by women who do this for a living. The records are not computerized but plan to do so as of the late 1990s. Price Hill Cemetery

The huge site, with beautiful landscaping and excellent maintenance, has no way to identify Jewish burials because none are labeled as such in the computer. However, they do keep excellent records.
