Located 35 miles northwest of Manhattan on the New Jersey border. Spring Valley and Monsey are neighboring towns in Rockland County.

unnamed Jewish cemetery: Cemetery is on Old School House Road at the corner of Route 306 in either Spring Valley or Monsey. Sections include Workmen's Circle, The Jewish Community Center (Spring Valley), and Temple Beth El (Spring Valley). Also an Hassidic Section where one of the high rabbis is buried.
