Forest Green Park Cemetery: The cemetery (at Texas Road, 732-591-1501) is active and landmarked. This Conservative cemetery's suburban location is on flat land and separate but near other cemeteries. The English sign blocked by three tree limbs reads: Beth Shalom of Forest Green Park Cemetery. The cemetery is reached by turned directly off a public road. Access is open to all. No wall, fence, or gate surrounds the cemetery. Low in-ground plaques mark graves. Other cemeteries adjoin the property. The cemetery is visited occasionally by private visitors. Additional information regarding this small, open Jewish cemetery must be obtained by telephone. There is no office on the premises although an office with a woman, who answers phone calls, exists somewhere locally. Current care is occasional clearing or cleaning by authorities. Vandalism, uncontrolled access, and weather erosion are a moderate threat. Vegetation in the cemetery is a seasonal problem. The survey was completed 10 Dec 1998 by Gil Benjamin, 7 McCue Road, Morganille, NJ 07751, email: This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
