Fairview Cemetery: Mt. Moriah also owns Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Ave., Fairview, NJ 201-943-6161. Fairview is a non-denominational cemetery that has no Jewish section, but may have Jewish burials. Their records are computerized.

Mt. Moriah Jewish Cemetery: 685 Fairview Avenue, Fairview NJ 07022; 201-943-6163 (just north of North Bergen off of Tonnelle Avenue). Mt. Moriah Cemetery Jewish was founded 1910.  Cemetery burials are indexed and computerized. Flowers are permitted. The active Reform and Reconstructionist cemetery location is urban on a hillside and separate, but near other cemeteries. A sign in English and Hebrew reads as follows: Moriah Cemetery. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a continuous masonry wall and a locking gate. The 20th and 21st century gravestones are marble, granite, and limestone memorial markers are rough stones or boulders; flat, shaped stones; flat stones with carved relief decoration; double tombstones; sculpted monuments; multi-stone monuments; and horizontally set stones with English, Hebrew, and Yiddish inscriptions. The present owner of the frequently visited Jewish cemetery property is the municipality. Properties adjacent are residential and other cemeteries. Past maintenance includes cleaning stones, clearing vegetation, and repairing wall. Structures within the limits of the cemetery, include a chapel, a caretaker's residence, and a pre-burial house with a tahara and a catafalque.     • From Riverside Memorial Chapel DIRECTIONS FROM N.Y.: West Side Highway North to Henry Hudson Parkway to George Washington Bridge, to Route 46 West to Route 1 & 9 South. Look for the Look for the "FAIRVIEW AVENUE, ALL TURNS FROM THE RIGHT LANE" straight uphill to cemetery.
    • From Sinai Chapels Funeral Directors DIRECTIONS: Long Island Expressway (495) west to Grand Central Parkway North to Triboro Bridge to Major Deegan Expressway to George Washington Bridge to Route 1 & 9 South. At Fairview Ave., follow sign directions for left turn on Fairview Ave and proceed to cemetery.
