[UPDATE] Joplin Jewish community marks 100th anniversary of temple [January 2017]

Mt. Hope Cemetery: This non-sectarian cemetery has a small section for Jewish burials. The format is that number-letter graves are by row, by number from the old section; the letter-number graves are by row, by letter. Graves at the end are in a separate, very new section with room for expansion. Mt. Hope Cemetery in Webb City, Missouri actually covers Webb City, Joplin, and surrounding areas including neighboring portions of Kansas. (Some Galena, Ks. burials are here.)
