  • Home of Peace Cemetery: {10147} Laid out as a Jewish cemetery around 1848 by the City of San Jose, the first burial was approximately 1853. Owned & operated by Temple Emanu-El, San Jose, the 3-acre cemetery had 1,708 Jewish burials as of March 1996. Home of Peace has no street address. It is located in the SE corner of Oak Hill Memorial Park. Oak Hill is at 300 Curtner Ave. San Jose, CA 95125 (408) 297-2447. Oak Hill is open daily from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.   • Los Gatos Memorial Park: {10149} 2255 Los Gatos-Alameda Rd, 95124, (408-356-4151). Mary H. Tripp VP, 8AM-4:30 PM, M-F, Sat. As of 1975, there were 600 burials on 12 acres. Records are computerized Index Cards
