Cemetery burials are indexed but have no biographical data, next-of-kin info, funeral director info, or health dept. numbers. The cemetery is active and used by the Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist, Sephardic, and Orthodox-Hassidic communities. The suburban cemetery location is on flat land and separate, but near other cemeteries. A sign in English marks the cemetery. The cemetery is reached by turning directly off a public road. A continuous masonry wall and a gate that locks surround the cemetery. The cemetery is divided into sections by temple. Tombstones in the cemetery are datable from the 20th century. 1,000-5,000 gravestones are in cemetery, in original location, none toppled or broken. The granite and iron memorial markers are flat shaped stones and inscribed, double tombstones, sculpted monuments, and mausoleums. Some of the tombstones have bronze decorations or lettering or portraits on stones. Inscriptions on tombstones are English, Hebrew, and/or Russian. The present owner of the cemetery property is private individual(s) or corporation. The cemetery property is used for Jewish cemetery purposes only. The cemetery was never known to have been vandalized. Current Care: paid perpetual care. Within the limits of the cemetery are a mortuary and a pre-burial house with a tahara (table). The vegetation overgrowth in the cemetery is not a problem. All Temples/Congregations in the County use the cemetery:
