The Jewish community dispersed to different provinces; and the few who remained were unable to care for the Jewish elements. Therefore nothing exists. In Corrientes and Resistencia are cemeteries with a thriving community. Sephardim lived in the same place at the same time. They along very well with locals but not as well with the Ashkenazi, Daniel Tweles.

CEMETERY:

  • Since March 30, 1917, Formosa had a Jewish cemetery within the cemetery of the Municipality of Formosa that granted land to the Jewish Mutual Aid Society. The space is separated by a wal from the Catholic cemetery. Records are in the same cemetery administration. Source; Daniel Tweles.[Sep 2015]
