  • Jewish lived in Ahmadabad for more than 250 years. Five schools managed by Jews. The late Dr. David Erulkar was the founder of Kamla Nehru Zoological Garden (previously "Kankaria Zoo" and Bal-Vatika in Ahmadabad. 70 Jewish families presently live in the city. [August 2010]
