NOTES:
- This cemetery was also used by the surrounding Jewish communities of Geiselwind, Fürstenforst and Vestenbergsgreuth, based on a contract concluded in 1761, making Aschbach a collective cemetery. The nearby community of Burghaslach had used this cemetery already since 1725.
- A massive gated wall surrounds this cemetery, which includes a mortuary, built in 1887. The oldest gravestones are located behind the mortuary, including the oldest, with a date of 1720. There is a granite memorial stone recording the names of the 15 Aschbach Jewish victims of the Nazi era.
- The cemetery was desecrated at the beginning of June 2007, when 49 gravestones were toppled, some being broken. The culprits had entered the grounds over the gate by force. The material damage amounted to several thousand Euros. Three 17-18 year old youths were apprehended a few days later. This crime was fully reported in the Süddeutsche Zeitung on 16th June 2007, as well as in other newspapers.
