MALLERSDORF-PFAFFENBERG: 84066 Bavaria, near Straubing (Peters)
Mallersdorf-Pfaffenberg at 48°46′N 12°14′E is a municipality in the Straubing-Bogen district in Bavaria with around 7000 inhabitants in 2010. Near Pfaffenberg is a Jewish monument established in 1947 and financed by donations of Jewish inhabitants of the region for a tomb for 67 prisoners, who had been marched from Buchenwald and shot by German soldiers before they could be released by the allies.
