Tisovec (Hungarian) is located N of Rimavska Sobota. The cemetery was transferred to this wooded hillside by water with no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a masonry wall and a non-locking gate. 20-100 19th-20th century marble, granite, and other materials flat shaped stones, finely smoothed and inscribed stones, or double tombstones with Hebrew and German inscriptions, are not in original location. The property is Jewish cemetery only. Adjacent properties are forest. Private visitors visit frequently. There has been re-erection of stones, patching broken stones, cleaning stones, and clearing vegetation. Now, individuals occasionally clean or clear. No threats.
