The earliest known Jewish Community was mid-19th c. 1926 Jewish population (census) was 140. Effecting the Jewish Community was 1920. The Jewish mass grave was dug in 1941. No other towns or village's Jews were murdered at this unlandmarked mass grave. The isolated suburban flat land has signs or plaques in local language mentioning Jews and the Holocaust. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all. No wall, fence, or gate surrounds the mass grave. The approximate size of mass grave is now 0.01 hectares. No stones were removed. Stones date from 1995. The mass grave has only common tombstones. The site contains marked mass graves. Municipality owns site used for mass burial site. Properties adjacent are residential and hospital. Occasionally, organized individual tours and local residents visit. This mass grave has not been vandalized. Authorities clean or clear occasionally. Within the limits of the mass grave are no structures. Moderate threat: uncontrolled access, vegetation and vandalism. Slight threat: weather erosion, pollution and existing nearby development.
