Ivanovka is located in Odesskaya, 7 km from Berezovka and 80 km from Odessa. The mass grave is located at west of the village. Present town population is under 1,000 with no Jews.

     94 Jews from Odessa were murdered near v. Ivanovka in 1941. Their unlandmarked Jewish mass grave was dug in 1941. The isolated suburban, flat land has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all. No wall, fence or gate surrounds the mass grave. The approximate size of mass grave is now 0.01 hectares. No stones were removed. The mass grave contains unmarked mass graves. Municipality owns the site now used for mass burial site. Adjacent properties are agricultural. The mass grave is visited rarely by local residents. The mass grave has been vandalized during World War II and occasionally in the last 10 years. There is no maintenance. Within the limits of the mass grave are no structures. Vegetation overgrowth is a seasonal problem, preventing access. Very serious threat: uncontrolled access and pollution. Moderate threat: weather erosion, vegetation and vandalism. Slight threat: existing nearby development and proposed nearby development.

     See v. Ivanovka I for town information. The cemetery is located at southwest. The Jewish cemetery was established in 19th century with last known Hasidic Jewish burial in 1941. No other towns or villages used this unlandmarked isolated suburban hillside with no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all. No wall, fence, or gate surrounds site. 1 to 20 common tombstones, none in original location and more than 75% toppled or broken, date from 1890 to 20th century. The cemetery contains no known mass graves. The municipality owns the property now used for agriculture (crops or animal grazing) and industrial or commercial use. Adjacent properties are commercial or industrial. The cemetery boundaries are smaller now than 1939 because of commercial or industrial development. Local residents visit rarely. The cemetery was vandalized during World War II and occasionally in the last 10 years. There is no maintenance. Within the limits of the cemetery are no structures. Vegetation overgrowth is a seasonal problem, preventing access. Very serious threat: vandalism, existing nearby development and proposed nearby development. Odessa Jews (75km away) were murdered at this unlandmarked mass grave. The isolated suburban site has by no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all. No wall, fence or gate surrounds the mass grave. The approximate size of mass grave is now 0.01 hectares. No stones were removed. The mass grave has no special sections.
