CHMIELNITSKY: (formerly Proskorov)

The older portion of the Jewish cemetery was destroyed after WWII to make room for a housing development. The remaining portion probably dates back no further than 1940-50. Some restoration and care is evident. The town has many visitors and present day contacts. There is a new cemetery also. (We did not visit it.)
