  • The  overgrown 150 x 100m cemetery situated on a flatland in the NW part of the villag surrounded by a disintegrating old wall, overgrown with threes, bushes ,and grass. The gravestones are in bad condition, especially the sandstone, many collapsed with inscriptions eroded. Pictorial motifs are: deer, lions, birds, candlesticks, blessing hands of Kohanim and Levite eweer. The plot was divided as men and women buried separately. The oldest grave dates from 1814 and the last  from 1934.  Listing of Holocaust victims appears on some memorials. Sporadically maintaince by the local municipality. Zborov is located N of Bardejov. The flat urban isolated location has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a broken masonry walls and no gate. 100-500 18th-20th century marble and sandstone flat shaped stones with Hebrew and German inscriptions are in original locations. Some have carved relief decorations. Adjacent properties are residential. Occasionally, private visitors stop. Erosion, pollution, and vegetation (disturbing graves) are moderate threats.
