Trencin is located in Trencin, N of Piestany. The flat and isolated urban hillside has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via masonry wall and locking gate. 500-5000 19th-20th century marble, granite, sandstone, and other materials flat shaped tombstones or finely smoothed and inscribed stones are in original locations. Some have metal fences around graves. Inscriptions are Hebrew, German, and Slovak. The cemetery contains special memorial monuments to Holocaust victims. The local Jewish community owns the property used only as a Jewish cemetery. Adjacent properties are residential. Private visitors visit frequently. Restoration included re-erection of stones, patching broken stones, cleaning stones, clearing vegetation, and fixing of gate. There is a regular caretaker. No threats.
