Ruzomberok is located W of Liptovsky Mikulas. Primary cemetery was abolished in 1982. The suburban hillside symbolic cemetery site is part of a municipal cemetery with no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all via a masonry wall and a locking gate. The 19th-20th century marble, granite, and other materials tombstones with Hebrew and German inscriptions were removed from the original cemetery and put in [municipal?] cemetery containing special memorial monuments to Holocaust victims. The site is used for Jewish symbolic cemetery only. Adjacent properties are cemetery and agricultural. Private visitors visit occasionally. Vegetation was cleared. Now, individuals clean or clean occasionally. No threats.
