Alternate names: Raslavice [Slov], Vyšné Raslavice, Nižné Raslavice, Uhorské Raslavice [Cz, pre-1948], Slovenské Raslavice [Cz, pre-1948], Tótraszlavicz [Hun], Magyarraszlavicz [Hun]. 49°09' N, 21°19' E. 11 miles NNE of Prešov (Eperjes), 9 miles S of Bardejov (Bártfa). Villages of Vyšné Raslavice (Slovenské Raslavice, Tót-Raszlavicz) and Nižné Raslavice (Uhorské Raslavice, Magyar-Raszlavicz) merged in 1971. Jewish population: 132 (in 1880), 85 (in 1940).

• Jewish cemetery of Raslavice is located by the main road and can be entered through a garden of a family house on the Main Street nr.183. The 200 x 15 m cemetery has about 90 gravestones. Older graves are located in the lower and newer in the upper part of the cemetery. The cemetery has no proper maintenance and therefore is overgrown with bush and grass. The gravestones are simple, mostly granite, but  marble as well. Inscriptions are in Hebrew; the only symbol is the weeping willow. Elderly locals also remember an older Jewish cemetery supposedly located in the forest on the hill above the village.  Source and photos. [Sep 2014]

• Raslavice is located S of Bardejov. The isolated urban hillside has no sign or marker. Reached by crossing private garden, access is open to all via a fence and a locking gate. 20-100 19th-20th century tombstones are in original locations. The marble, granite, and sandstone flat shaped tombstones or finely smoothed and inscribed stones with Hebrew inscriptions sit in property is now used as a garden. Adjacent properties are agricultural and residential. Occasionally, private visitors stop. Vegetation was cleared. There is occasional clearing or cleaning by individuals. No threats. [date?]
