The cemetery is the private property of a Kriva Olkan farmer in Zemplen County, Humenne region at 21.8667/49.1333, about 3 km from Olka. The present town population is under 1,000 with no Jews. Only elderly villagers still remember the cemetery and are reluctant to share information.
Last known Jewish burial in the Orthodox cemetery was in 1893. Upper and Lower Olka under the site, approximately 1.2 km from the congregation. The isolated cemetery on flat land and a hillside is has no sign or marker. The cemetery is reached by crossing private property with access entirely closed (private property) with a locked gate. No stones are visible. Adjacent properties are agricultural and residential.

In the Stropkov, Slovakia burial records, she found the listing of eight Jewish toddlers buried in Kriva Olka in hastily dug and unmarked graves according to local residents. 3 siblings died in Fall 1893 of scarletina, three of pneumonia, and one of bronchitis: LDS library reel # 1793863, lines 38-47. She got as far as the gate enclosing the farmhouse and fields but not into the cemetery when she visited and interviewed the owners. According to the old-timers of Kriva Olka, poor Jews buried their children in the fields or on the hillside in Kriva Olka rather than in Stropkov, which had a Jewish cemetery, possibly because of the expense involved.
