Alternate name: Calovo, Csallóköz. Calovo is located in Dunajska Streda, SE of Dunajska Streda. The isolated rural/agricultural flat land with no sign or marker, is reached by turning directly off a public road and open to all. Surrounded by a masonry wall and locking gate the present size of the cemetery is 100x150 meters. 100-500 19th-20th century marble, granite, and other materials flat shaped tombstones and finely smoothed and inscribed stones with Hebrew and Hungarian inscriptions are in original locations. Some have metal fences around graves. Within the cemetery limits is a well. The property is Jewish cemetery only. Adjacent properties are agricultural. Private visitors visit occasionally. Restoration: re-erection of stones, patching broken stones, cleaning stones, clearing vegetation, and fixing of wall. The cemetery has a regular caretaker. No threats.
