Bosany is located E of Topolcany. The last known Jewish burial was 1927. A sign or plaque in Slovak marks the isolated rural/agricultural hillside . Reached by crossing a field and open to all, broken masonry wall without gate surrounds the site. Present size is 100x30 meters. The marble and granite 19th-20th century flat shaped tombstones or finely smoothed have Hebrew and German inscriptions. The property is used for recreation. Adjacent properties are agricultural. Private visitors stop rarely. Vandalism is a very serious threat. [prior to 2001]
