Słownik Geograficzny Królestwa Polskiego (1880-1902), XIV, pp. 457-465: "Zator". Jewish population: 376 (in 1895). Zator is an old town (pop. 3,779 in 2006) in southern Poland in Lesser Poland Voivodeship since 1999 and previously in Bielsko-Biała Voivodeship (1975-1998). [July 2009]
