The 19th century cemetery in Torzym located near the road to Sulęcin survived WWII in relatively good condition, but the beit olam was destroyed. For some time, history students with Father Jana Twardowski visited the graves and brought flowers. On their website they wondered if Christians could say prayers in the cemetery of another religion but decided that the most important thing was to ensure that the memory of every person, regardless of origin or religion, be remembered with tolerance and acceptance.
