The gmina 2006 itotal population is 4,917 (with 1,915in the town). The earliest known Jewish community was beginning of the 19th century. 1931 Jewish population was 3, with 2 in 1939. In 1858, the community was given the statute. The cemetery was established in 1853 with last Jewish burial in 1939. No other towns or villages used this unlandmarked cemetery. The isolated urban crown of a hill has no sign or marker. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all with no wall, fence, or gate. The cemetery was 0.077 ha before WWII. No stones are visible. The cemetery contains no known mass graves. The municipality owns property used for agriculture. Adjacent property is commercial or industrial and residential. It was vandalized during World War II. No maintenance. No threats are listed.
