This village at 50°01' - 22°19' in Łańcut County, Subcarpathian Voivodeship in SE Poland is the seat of theadministrative district called Gmina Markowa approximately 5 mi SE of Łańcut and 14 mi E of the regional capital Rzeszów. The village 2005 population was 4,100. Markowa is located in the Diocese of Przemysl.
