Alternate names: Kromołów [Pol], Krimilov, קרימלוב [Yid]. 50°29' N, 19°31' E, 14 miles N of Olkusz, 4 miles E of Zawiercie, but today, a neighborhood of Zawiercie. 1900 Jewish population: ~400. Kromołów is a village on the Warta river in the administrative district of Gmina Walce within Krapkowice County, Opole Voivodeship  in SW Poland 4 km (2 mi) NW of Walce, 8 km (5 mi) S of Krapkowice, and 30 km (19 mi) S of the regional capital Opole. Before 1945 the area was part of Germany. The village has a population of 469. cemetery photo. Jewish history. [June 2009]

CEMETERY: map to cemetery. Created in the first half of the 18th century, the oldest preserved gravestone comes from 1730 with many gravestones with relief from the 18th and 19th century. [June 2009]
