CEMETERY: photos. Some report that Jewish cemetery for Byczyna was situated in village Biskupice.. The cemetery is located close to the road from Kępno to Kluczbork. Pass by the level crossing outside Byczyna area and walk along fields approximately 400 meters to a picturesque hill. Only remains of the enclosure and few gravestones survived. Souvenirs and Monuments of Jewish Culture in Poland lists both the cemetery Biskupicach in Opole Voivodeship and the cemetery in Byczynie with the same name, Biskupic. Jan Jagielski's socumentation from the Department of Historical Monuments Jewish Historical Institute uses the term "Jews from the Jewish cemetery Byczyny located in the village Biskupice." Some residents call this area Byczyny and others - Biskupice. The cemetery is located near the road to Kępna Kluczbork. [April 2009]
