Bartshin [Yiddish]. On December 18, 2008, a memorial plaque commemorating the destroyed synagogue was unveiled on a building at 4 Stycznia St. Gmina Barcin contains the town of Barcin and the villages and settlements of Aleksandrowo, Augustowo, Barcin-Wieś, Bielawy, Dąbrówka Barcińska, Gulczewo, Józefinka, Julianowo, Kania, Knieja, Krotoszyn, Mamlicz, Młodocin, Piechcin, Pturek, Sadłogoszcz, Szeroki Kamień, Wapienno, Wolice, Zalesie Barcińskie and Złotowo.
