Лаздияй [Rus]. לאַזדיי - Yiddish 54°14' N, 23°31' E in SW Lithuania, near the Polish border. 11 miles NE of Sejny, 16 miles SE of Kalvarija (Kalwarja), 25 miles ENE of Suwałki (Suvalk). Lite (vol. 1) (New York, 1951).

Jews of the town of Lazdijai were killed and buried in a mass grave on the Katkiskis estate in November 1941. Photographed in 1998. [September 2010]
