This tiny community subordinate to the Nyirmada congregation had a prayer house and cemetery. The Jews were merchants and artisans, but one owned an 420 acre estate. After Passover 1944, they were taken to the ghetto of Kisvarda. The few, who returned after the war, were gone by 1963. [February 2009]
