Old Cemetery: photos The cemetery is located at Fürdő street 6. The cemetery restored by the Association for the City's Protection has not had care since. Weeds are rampant. Always closed, the keys to the finely restored wooden door are with the city council as well as the City Protection Society.(Mr István Fülöp, phone: 06-20/561-1818.) Surrounded by a wooden fence and situated among houses, the cemetery closed in 1937.
New Cemetery: The new cemetery opened in 1937 and was abandoned by the city in 1960. Graves were moved to the old cemetery. No vestige of the cemetery remains. [February 2009]
