Cece is a village in Fejér county, (46°46'12"N   18°38'59"E) Situated 30 km west of Dunaföldvár, the original settlement was named after its owner and first mentioned in documents in 1193 by Béla III. A nobleman's estate in the Middle Ages, between 1906 and 1950, Cece was famous for its pepper, now for its paprika and watermelon. The Calvinist and the Catholic church were built in the 18th century in Baroque style. Artist István Csók (1865-1961) was born in Sáregres. The Csók István memorial museum can be found in his parents' one-time house. The 19th century building of the Fisi family is now a House of Regional Traditions.
