Liblice is a village in Central Bohemian Region at 50° 18′ 46″ N, 14° 35′ 24″ E, 9 km southeast of Mělník and 28 km northeast of Prague. The population is 483 (2006). A Baroque chateau (1699-1706) designed by Giovanni Battista Alliprandi for Count Arnošt Josef Pachta of Rájov (Graf Ernst Josef Pachta Freiherr v. Rayhofen serves since 1952 as a conference and recreational facility of Czech Academy of Sciences and is not accessible to public. [February 2009]
