Liběchov: German(Liboch) is a small town in Central Bohemian Region at 50°24′29″N 14°26′48″E about 36 km north of Prague on right bank of the Elbe River, approximately in half way between towns of Mělník and Štětí. 2002 Flooding mentions Libechov: "The worst damage to cultural artifacts occurred outside Prague, in Libechov and Terezin. In the latter city, flood waters drenched some 20,000 books—work enough to keep a single conservator busy for 5,000 years, Prague’s independent Lidove Noviny noted." [February 2009]
