A small hidden cemetery exists halfway between the towns of Strazske (4852 2150) and Brekov (4854 2150), when traveling north from Michalovce to Humenne in a small wooded patch immediately to the west of the road in the direction of the chemical plant further west. It is immediately prior to the overpass above the railroad tracks that has (had?) restaurants for motorists on either side.

it is heavily overgrown with vegetation and thus protected against vandalism or even curious onlookers. You just have to know it is there to be able to find it. Nearby on the opposite (east ) side of the road is a red brick tower of unknown purpose above 3 stories high. Further to the east is the Laborec river with remnants of an old mill and a newer building that used to be a recreational facility. I would say there are twenty plus gravestones with fairly legible writings and even some "utensil" type artefacts on the ground ( I recall some type of challice there twenty-five years ago when I visited.) I assume no one cares for the unfencedproperty, but probably well-preserved due to being so overgrown. This information is approximately 25 years-old and may not be accurate in all respects.
