- Stonefall Jewish Cemetery, Wetherby Road, Harrogate HG3 1DE
The Harrogate Stonefall Jewish Cemetery was consecrated on 24 May 1964, the first burials being the re-interment of Sir Montague Burton and his wife, Lady Sophia Burton (who had died in 1952 and 1957, respectively). A Searchable Database of those buried in this Cemetery, plus photographs of the headstones (approximately 180 interments), is now available on JCR-UK. Prior to 1964, the Harrogate Jewish congregation was affiliated to Leeds United Hebrew Congregation (UHC) for the purposes of burial rights, and burials took at the UHC Cemetery in Gildersome, Leeds. - Stonefall Military Cemetery, Harrogate
This cemetery includes the graves of six Jewish servicemen, identified by the Magen David on their headstones. There may other Jewish servicemen buried there, but their graves do not indicate their religion.
