CEMETERY:

The first burial in the Rose Hill Cemetery was in 1936 and the last was in 2006 (although the congregation closed in 1979).

Prior to the opening of the cemetery - "Arrangements have been made between ...[the Leeds Old Hebrew C]ongregation and the newly-formed congregation at Doncaster whereby the former are granting burial facilities in their cemetery at Gildersome." JCR-UK includes a Searchable Database of those buried in this Cemetery, plus photographs of the headstones (approximately 70 interments) and a description of the Cemetery. Source - David Shulman, Webmaster JCR-UK, [June 2014].

ACCESS: The cemetery is railed off and there is a separate entrance via a passageway to the left of the main cemetery. Source - David Shulman, Webmaster JCR-UK, [September 2016]
