This small Jewish cemetery with the first tombstone from 1812 (Sarah Moses November 1812). The last tombstone shows 1921.
. There wereabout 50 burials. Since 1915, it has been one of the disused cemeteries administered by the Board of Deputies of British Jews. Access: The cemetery is on the corner of Greendown Place and Bradford Road (A3062), opposite the Florest & Flower public house, about two miles from the centre of the city of Bath. Public bus service no 2 from Bath railway station runs several times an hour. Please do not park in the narrow and crowded Greendown Place - unrestricted parking on Bradford Rd adjacent to the pub is available.
The cemetery is locked, but Open Days are held several times a year. Outside those days, requests for access from relatives and for study purposes are welcome and should be directed to the Friends of Bath Jewish Burial Ground via their website www.bathjewishburialground.org
