CEMETERY:
- The Stoke-on-Trent and North Staffordshire Hebrew Cemetery: The London Road - Route A34, Newcastle-under-Lyme, ST4.
This is actually the Jewish Section of the municipal London Road Cemetery, but is entirely separate from it. The cemetery is primarily the cemetery for the Jewish community of Stoke-on-Trent, which adjoins Newcastle-under-Lyme. The In 2004, the Community's synagogue was relocated from Hanley in Stoke-on-Trent to the grounds of the cemetery in Newcastle-under-Lyme.
The first burial was in 1886, the cemetery having been acquired from the Duke of Sutherland for £1.
