CEMETERY:

  • Llanrhos Lawn Cemetery, Jewish Section, Conway Road, Llanrhos, Llandudno, LN30 1RN.

A Jewish burial site has been established at Llanrhos Lawn Cemetery and is believed to be the first in North Wales. The only remaining synagogue in North Wales is now in Llandudno (est. 1905), close to Llanrhos cemetery. The burial section at Llanrhos is to be run on liberal Judaism lines, with arrangements left up to the bereaved family to decide how they wish to hold the funeral and mourn afterwards.
