The village had a 1900 Jewish population: 200 and is in Jász-Nagykun-Szolnok County in the Northern Great Plain region of central Hungary.
Öcsöd Jewish cemetery caretaker is László Korodi. The cemetery was landmarked in 1987. [March 2009]
