52°35′18″N 14°40′0″E. Kostrzyn nad Odrą (German: Küstrin) is a town in western Poland at the confluence of the Oder and Warta rivers on the border with Germany. Located in the Lubusz Voivodeship, in Gorzów County, it had 19,952 inhabitants as of 2007. Map. [June 2009]
Alternate German name: Kustrin. It is in the region of Gorzow WLKP (Wielkopolski) at 51°35 N 14°38 E, 50 km from Gorzow WLKP. Cemetery: on Michiewicza St. by the railroad. Present town population is 25,000-100,000 with no Jews.

There is no caretaker. As of last census before World War II, there were 150 Jews (1921?). The Progressive/Reform Jewish cemetery was established in the second half of the 18th century. The Jewish community of Gorzyca, 10 km from the unlandmarked cemetery, also used it. The isolated urban flat land has Hebrew inscriptions on the gate or wall. Reached by turning directly off a public road, access is open to all. A continuous masonry wall with locking gate surrounds. Before World War II and currently, the size of the cemetery is.66 ha. 1 to 20 sandstone, flat shaped stones with traces of painting on their surfaces, in original locations, have German inscriptions. There are no known mass graves. The Municipality owns property used for storage. Adjacent properties are commercial or industrial. Rarely, local residents visit. The cemetery was vandalized during World War II. No maintenance. A structure in the cemetery is the synagogue (probably the pre-burial house and place of torment of the Jews), now the apartment building. Weather erosion and vandalism are slight threats, but there are no other threats.
