51°47' N 16°39' E, 187.6 miles W of Warszawa. The town of Rydzyna was the seat of king Stanisław Leszczyński and is known as "the pearl of the Polish baroque". In the southern part of Wielkopolska Province, 10 km S of Leszno in Leszno powiat on main Poznań-Wrocław Highway E5, the town's population was 2446 in 2006.
