Zomba is a village at 46.41166°N 18.56483°E in Tolna County near Szekszárd and 79.8 miles SSW of Budapest . 2008 population: 2301. Two thousand years ago a Roman settlement was here. The old name of the village was Zumba. In 1603, Turks took the area. From the early 18th century, Dőry László owned Zomba.
