MYAKOV:     US Commission No. UA01330101 Alternate name: Misiankov (Yiddish), Misjakow (German) and Mizikov (Hungarian). Myakov is located in Vinnitskaya at 49º24 28º22, 25 km from Kalinovka and 26 km from Vinnitsa. The cemetery is located S in the field near the farm. Present town population is under 1,000 with no Jews.

The earliest known Jewish community was end 18 [sic]. 1939 Jewish population (census) was 250. Effecting the Jewish Community was end of 1920 kahal destroyed. The last known Hasidic burial was 1942. No other towns or villages used this unlandmarked cemetery. The isolated rural (agricultural) flat land has no sign or marker. Reached by crossing public farm, access is open to all. No wall, fence, or gate surrounds site. No stones are visible. Location of any removed stones is unknown. The cemetery contains no known mass graves. Municipality owns property is used for waste dumping. Properties adjacent are agricultural and other. The cemetery boundaries are smaller now than 1939 because of agriculture and other. Local residents visit rarely. The cemetery was not vandalized in the last ten years. There is no maintenance. Within the limits of the cemetery are no structures. Water drainage is a seasonal problem. Very serious threat: uncontrolled access and pollution. Serious threat: existing and proposed nearby development. Moderate threat: vegetation. Slight threat: weather erosion and vandalism.
